Greg Murphy, Director, Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships with BlueNalu, Inc (www.BlueNalu.com) is an exciting San Diego based food innovation company that is developing real seafood products directly from the cells of actual fish, but without having to grow the heads, tails, scales or bones, and without mercury, microplastics or other environmental contaminants. Our multi-species platform technology allows us to produce whole muscle seafood products, without the use of genetic modification, for markets around the world in a way that is healthy for humans, humane for animals and sustainable for the planet. Last December, the company hosted its premier culinary demonstration of its cell-based yellowtail, in which our chef demonstrated for investors that the product performs the same as conventional seafood whether it is prepared raw, grilled, acidified as in poke, or cooked in oil for fish tacos. BlueNalu recently announced a strategic partnership with Nutreco, the world’s largest aquaculture feed supplier, and plans to be selling cell-based seafood in a small number of restaurants in the next 18 months.

Charles Cousin of Bellamare, LLC, has designed, coordinated the manufacture of, and supported the development of a variety of underwater systems intended for biological and physical oceanography: namely subsea enclosures, the ISIIS/DPI plankton imaging system, ocean drifters and various towed vehicles.
Charles is working today, with an “open-source” approach, to increase the use of smaller size tow-fish by developing key building blocks/components of these vehicles. Charles will present a small winch, a low-cost “navigation-box”, actuators for dive wings, telemetry solutions, DIY pressure vessels, and code developments for sensors integration.
